We're currently investigating the Mashups and RSS. We're likely to have the RSS first, and it'll feature in our <a href="http://www.rogueconnect.com/style.php" rel="nofollow">fashion blog</a>. The mashup concept we're toying with is still underwraps - it won't be anything hugely unique but certainly bring about a lot of extra functionality and interaction for our members. There's <em>Hi5</em>, <em>Orkut</em>, and many other's. What they all don't have is <strong>interoperability</strong>. It would be nice to be able to interact with users registered in another network. This would, of course, imply <strong>standards</strong> for data interchange. If I value a particular provider's specificities, I register in their website and I automattically have access to the other adherent social networks... That would be Web2.0 in It's best... There’s Hi5, Orkut, and many other’s. What they all don’t have is interoperability.

Over the past fortnight we implemented <a href="http://www.rogueconnect.com/tag/" rel="nofollow">folksonomy tagging</a> to allow people to tag their fashion blog entries and eachother. On the page that actually contains the tags, we've implemented the 'display the tags' functionality using Ajax. Partly because we wanted to experiment with Ajax, and partly because it has some very cool uses. Glad to see w'ere getting towards Web 2.0 slowly :) We’ve just implemented a few of those things at Rogue Connect.
